Spaaaaaaace

Hello Boys and Girls, this week we are going to talk about space.

Pretty much, space is awesome, look at it!

And that is why we decided it was time to honour space with food. Delicious Foooood.

The Menu

Main

Pasta and Meatballs with Star and Satellite Spaced Vegetables

Chef's Rating: 7 out of 10 Black Holes
It was good, but I think we could do better. The meatballs had bits of salami in them, that was interesting. Also, I'm not totally sure on why we ended up with meatballs, but I'm going to go with they kind of look like planets.

Dessert

Freeze dried Ice-cream Sandwich (Like the Astronauts eat) and Choc Chip Ice-cream with silver balls in it.

Chef's Rating: 8 out of 10 Uranus's
I don't think you can really go wrong here, just loosing points because we didn't really cook anything. Freeze dried Ice-cream sandwich tastes surprisingly good, crunchy ice-cream!

Drinks

Some Sparkly Purpley Blue Drinks .... They don't really have a name, so lets just call them Space Cadets
Don't you love it when your drink matches your outfit?
I also added glitter for fun.....yes, I drank glitter.

Pro Layering Skilllllz
Chef's Rating: 5 out of 8 Cosmos
It was alright. Just Soda Water, Blue Curacao and Parfait Amour. I guess alright is what you achieve when you pick something just for it's colours.

While we didn't go all out with food this week we made up for it with our atmosphere!

This is what happens when you're new at atmosphere.

We also had activities, like excavating a meteorite.

That's real meteorite, can you say best space party evvverrr?

We also set a glow stick on fire, you know, for fun.....

Sweet Children, go forth and discover the wonders of the universe.
Peace.

All Hallows Eve

Hey Scary People,

It was a while ago now but this year to celebrate Halloween we did the usual, carve  pumpkins, drink, and give children candy. Next year I'll be adopting the "No Costume, No Lollies" policy, damn teenagers. *shakes fist*

The Menu

Main

Chef's Rating: 6 out of 9 Fingernails
These were ok, maybe a little dry. Again, I'm thinking it might be time to see if there's any truth to this soaking your chicken in milk overnight thing.

Dessert

Chef's Rating: 8 out of 9 Little Bitty Pumpkins
I think this is the best pie we have every made. Sadly I didn't end up eating very much, Halloween is a big day for food and somehow couldn't find much time to eat it the next week. Who can't find time to eat pie, seriously? I recommend it. As an Australian, it was also pretty novel and exciting.

Drinks

Chef's Rating: 9 out of 10 Warty Noses.
I really enjoyed this. Love kiwis, love ginger ale, love vokda. Win! While it wasn't strong enough for some people's taste, still a nice drink, and you can always add more vodka if you want.

I wish you no food poisoning.
Good Night.
