The Nutty Belgian
Helloooooo!
Last week we went with Belgium because we couldn't think of anything and they have good food right? No links to recipes this week except for drinks because I can't remember what any of them are and I spilt sauce all over the originals.
Enjoy

The Menu
Entree
Parmesan Mussels
Chef's Rating: 7 out of 10 lemon wedges.
The topping was a bit crusty but it still tasted good (which is what counts when you're drunk) and the shells were so pretty! Shout out to NZ.
Main
Ummm, some kind of meaty skewers
Chef's Rating: 5 out of 9 cows.
It's meat on a stick. Little chewy the next day but made a pretty good pizza topping the next day.
(There was also bread and some mash with BACON)
Dessert
Pancakes and Melted Chocolate that didn't deserve a photo for not being waffles.
The Drinks
(As seen above)
Chef's Rating: 7 out of 10 apples.
It was tasty, and amazing if you like sour. Again I couldn't not find the correct ingredients so substituted apple brandy for Apple Sour Monkey, which may have been the problem. I got a free pen though so it was worth it.
Chef's Rating: 8 out of 9 Nuts
Couldn't find the right ingredients for this one either, surprise! But still tasted soooo good.
A casualty of some really hard stirring.

Espanol
So to celebrate my attempt at learning Spanish (which had totally dropped off now) we cooked a big omelet and got tipsy on sangria!
The Theme
Spanish
The Menu
Entree
Chef's Rating: 8/10 Chickens.
Even though there were jaepenos in them they weren't too spicey, which is always a plus for me.
Main
Chef's Rating: 6/8 Potatoes
Found out that tortillas are actually omelets.... but hearty omelets. I also had no idea about the crazy Mahon Spansih cheese that is in the recipe, but I'm happy to say that any cheese will make it taste good because cheese is God's food.
Drinks
Some nice Mulled Wine-esque cocktail
Chef's Rating: 8/10 Cinnamon Sticks
(I don't really know, I smashed my glass before I really had a chance to really taste it, but look how fancy we are with our cinnamon sticks)
And of course.... SANGRIA!
Chef's Rating: 10/10 Apples
Because Sangria is always good.
Sleep with full bellies my children.
Adios.

Sooooo, turns out Naan is pretty hard to make yourself . But we chucked cheese and so many different herb and spices on it that it still tasted good. Hint: no use wholemeal flower and possibly let it rise more.
Chef's Rating: 2.5 out of 5 garlic cloves
Main
I was actually very impressed that we could make something that tasted almost like a real curry (we so white)
Chef's Rating: 8 out of 10 Cardamon Pods
The Drinks
Was sooooooo good. Made me pretty happy and it was tasty, exactly what you want in a cocktail. Plus it's full of fruit so you can lie to yourself about it being healthy.
Chef's Rating: 9 out of 10 Umbrellas.
This one was interesting. Quite strong. I also couldn't find any almond liquor so had to go with hazelnut, which wasn't really a bad thing. Would drink again.
Chef's Rating: 5 out of 8.5 Missing Almonds
Goodnight.

Chef's Rating: 7.5 out of 10 pigs.

I discovered that poaching eggs is really really hard. They can just.... explode. I was eating this for a full week afterwards and it was still good. Handy Tip!
Chef's Rating: 6 out of 9 Roommates.
The Drink
We reconfirmed the fact that we are not fans of lemoncello.... also grape fruit.
Chef's Rating: 5 out of 9 lemons
I hope you guys enjoyed spring. Feels like it's already over, damn you Australia!
