Opposite Day

I don't think I really need to explain the idea of opposite day to you do I??

Theme

Opposite Day

The Menu

The Main

Sweet Lasagna

I know this doesn't make it look great but trust me, it was delicious.
This is just layered stewed apple, custard, cream, puff pastry and lychees. There was supposed to be rhubarb but I forgot that you can only get it in winter *mega sad face*. So Chemo Boy bought us a can of lychees instead.

Chef's Rating: 9 out of 10 shiny silver balls
Because you can never go wrong with puff pastry, cream and custrard

The Dessert

Savory Cake

This was just your normal cake, but with tomatoes, basil, bacon and cheese instead of sugar. It was good. Kept me going all week.

Chef's Rating: 8 out of 10 deceivingly looking Christmas Cakes

The Drink

Blue Curacao

I know this doesn't look very exciting. And it wasn't. But do you know how hard it is to come up with an opposite day drink? That you can still drink......
So we went with Blue Curacao, because it took me many years before I realised it was flavoured orange. What?!?

Chef's Rating: 2 out of 10 Oranges
Blue Curacao and Soda water doesn't taste that great

This one was a short and sweet one. I recommend you all try these two recipes. Not the drinks though. Don't try the drinks .

Good night my sweet sweet angels.
